‘Big Brother’ Schedule Change: September 23 Start Time Explained

Big Brother season 28 is returning tonight (September 23) and we are almost at finale night!
With the season finale set for October 1, 2026, fans are hopeful to see their faves still in the competition to possibly win the $750,000 grand prize.
Unfortunately for viewers turning into CBS tonight…there’s a bit of a schedule shakeup happening!
Tonight’s all-new episode of Big Brother is starting at a later time
The episode will not air at 8pm ET, which is its usual start time!
Instead, the episode will likely kick off at 10 pm ET on CBS.
Why is the episode starting so late tonight?
The season premiere of Survivor season 51 debuts tonight!
Survivor will debut with a two hour premiere this evening, leaving Big Brother delayed until 10pm ET.
This will be one of the final schedule changes for Big Brother this season as we head towards the last episode.
