Charles Leclerc Gushes Over Newborn Daughter at Formula 1 Brazilian Grand Prix Weekend Days After Birth

Charles Leclerc is speaking out about becoming a father this week!
The 29-year-old Monegasque F1 driver’s wife, Alexandra, gave birth to their first child, a baby girl named Bianca, on Tuesday (November 3).
Days later, Charles was back on the race track in Brazil for the Sao Paulo Grand Prix weekend ahead of the race on Sunday (November 8).
While speaking to reporters on Friday (November 6), Charles dished on his first few days of fatherhood.

“It’s definitely the most special thing ever, and yeah, you kind of expect it,” he shared. “I’ve always wanted to be a young dad, and obviously with Alex, we felt like it was the right time, and it’s a very, very special moment.”
And definitely, a week I’ll forever for all the positive reasons,” he added, before alluding to on track drama with his teammate the weekend before. “And then, of course, there’s been other things going on as well.”
“But, for me, this week was all about Bianca, and it’s been, it’s been incredible,”
In another behind-the-scenes video of Charles before taking to the stage at the fan zone this weekend, he told his teammate, Lewis Hamilton, about his lack of sleep.
“Yeah, the nights are, now with a baby, I slept like one hour, 15 minutes,” he said.
Lewis replied to him to “get used to it. No more of that 12 hours of sleep,” referring to Charles‘ love of getting a lot of sleep each night.
