Hailee Steinfeld is back in the spotlight with a rare public appearance after becoming a mom. The 29-year-old Oscar-nominated actress stepped out in New York City on Wednesday, September 9, for Estée Lauder’s celebration of its new Glimmer fragrance. Steinfeld turned heads in an elegant black dress as she attended the New York Fashion Week event.
Steinfeld is the face of Estée Lauder’s new Glimmer campaign and was one of the evening’s biggest stars. The appearance comes months after Steinfeld and her husband, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, welcomed their first child. The couple confirmed the birth of their daughter, Harper, in early April 2025.
Steinfeld made her first red-carpet appearance since giving birth four months later at Disney’s D23 event in California, where she appeared to promote her upcoming animated movie Hexed. Her appearance at the Estée Lauder celebration marks only her second public appearance since becoming a mother.

During the first 10 seconds, the fragrance opens with bright and fruity notes, combining raspberry, mandarin and orange flower for a fresh, sparkling impression.
As the fragrance develops, Estée Lauder says a Macaron Rose Accord becomes more prominent, layered with Amber Embrace Accord and Shimmering Patchouli for a softer, warmer feel.
Further into the wear, Glimmer settles into a lingering combination of amber, patchouli, woods and tonka bean. A subtle sweetness remains close to the skin, creating the fragrance’s signature warm and addictive finish.
For Steinfeld, the New York appearance offered another rare glimpse of the actress and new mom as she returned to the public spotlight while representing Estée Lauder’s latest fragrance campaign.
