There are more updates on renewals and cancellations for some of the most popular PBS and PBS Masterpiece television series.
While one show was canceled this year and several others are fully wrapping up, there is still plenty of good news for fans, as several beloved series have been renewed for additional seasons!
Meanwhile, a handful of shows have yet to receive any updates, leaving viewers questioning their future.
PBS Masterpiece is well known for its lineup of acclaimed British television dramas, with many of its popular programs airing on Sunday nights, along with other quality offerings throughout the week and on weekends. The network has brought audiences a number of fan-favorite series, including Miss Scarlet, All Creatures Great and Small, Call the Midwife, Unforgotten, and The Forsytes, just to name a few.
So, which shows are returning, which ones are ending, and which may be on the chopping block? Here’s a look at everything we know so far.

The Marlow Murder Club – Renewed for Season 4!
The Marlow Murder Club will be back for another season after season three wraps up.
Here’s what to expect from season three, per PBS: Now an established part of newly promoted DI Tanika Malik’s crime-solving gang, retired archaeologist Judith Potts, dog walker Suzie Harris, and vicar’s wife Becks Starling are back and bringing their unconventional methods to a string of high-profile murders. From the sudden death of the town’s beloved mayor—the nicest man in Marlow—to a celebrity chef found dead at the launch of his cookbook with half the town in attendance, the team will be working under the watchful eye of the Marlow community. They’ll also be called to action at a university reunion in an eerie manor house where, in a surprising twist, Becks finds herself among the suspects. Could this case threaten our amateur sleuths’ roles as civilian advisors?

Miss Scarlet – Renewed, But Ending in 2027
Miss Scarlet returned for season 6 in January, and we learned that there will be a seventh season…but it will be the show’s last!
Filming is currently happening for season 7, which is expected next year.
Here’s the synopsis for the latest season: Miss Eliza Scarlet is doing her best to have it all. Her business is thriving, but her personal life enters new territory as she attempts to follow her heart and develop a relationship with Inspector Alexander Blake. Eliza may be an expert solving crimes, but she’s very much a novice when it comes to love. Can Eliza juggle the twin demands of her personal and professional life?
