MUNA’s Naomi McPherson Reacts to Being on Same ‘Kimmel’ Episode as Gal Gadot: ‘Free Palestine’
Gal Gadot and MUNA are on the same episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight, but the music group appears to have been blindsided about their placement on an episode with her.
MUNA member Naomi McPherson, who is an outspoken supporter of Palestine, took to Instagram Stories before the show aired to explain the situation. Naomi said their performance was pre-taped and they weren’t aware that they’d be slotted the Thursday episode, which featured Gal as the lead guest.
As you likely know, Gal is from Israel and has been supportive of her home country. MUNA member speaks out after appearing on “Kimmel” episode with Gal Gadot. “We’re on Kimmel tonight! Thank you to all the staff of the show who were so great to us… they were legends who really went the extra mile. This was taped a few days ago and we weren’t told who any of the guests were gonna be,” Naomi began.
Naomi added, “So gotta also just take this moment also to say a nice big huge Free Palestine.” MUNA performed their song “Dancing on the Wall” during the episode. You can watch the video below.
